You should already have Skype downloaded on your computer and be familiar with Skype to connect to the conference, so don't try connecting at the last minute! Be sure you've tested Skype with Instant Teleseminar before your event goes live.

Using Skype while in Australia to connect free to an event is more relevant because we can pay some hefty phone-call charges down-under.
Local calls via a landline phones (say at home or at the office) are not free -- I'm told North America is the opposite . . .?
With mobile (cellphone) calls -- a carrier-to-carrier call Australia wide is normally a free call ( say I use carrier Telecom for my mobile phone calls and my friend also uses Telecom for her mobile calls . . . we can call each other and talk 'till the cows come home and pay nothing).
Joining the Instant Teleseminar hosted webcast from Australia other than web link or Skype would be impossible.
The 'Connect to conference using Skype' instructions are therefor very important for Skype account holders in Australia.
Knowing this is probably of little value to anybody outside of Australia but there you have it.
I created a video on this as people were having trouble raising their hand to ask a question, so my video includes that the "dial pad" needs to stay open.
