PINless numbers is a feature that allows you to have a custom number your participants can use to connect directly to your conference line for a live event or to a pre-recorded audio that you have uploaded.
PINless numbers have different uses so make sure that you select the one that is right for your situation.
Once you click the button to create your PINless number you then choose to have either a live number or replay/phone path number. To have a number that your participants can use to connect to your events without needing to dial a PIN code choose the live phone number. To have a number that leads directly to a replay or phone path choose the Replay/Path phone number.
Creating a PINless Teleseminar Number:
To assign a PINless number to your conference line navigate to Teleseminars > Settings > Dial-In Numbers in the left side menu, click the 'Get New Number' button and follow the prompts shown.
Adding a New Number:
Once assigned to your conference line the PINless dial in number can be used by your guests. If you want to apply a password to the phone line, you can still do this from the Teleseminars > Settings > Call Settings area on the left side menu. All our current local numbers will still work to give access to your conference line but the local numbers will need to have the PIN entered like normal.
Replay/Path PINless numbers
To assign a PINless number to your replay or phone path navigate to Phone Paths > Dial-In Numbers in the left side menu, then click the 'Get New Number' button or in the Path Management area of your event click the 'Get a PINless number for this path' link.
Next choose if you want your PINless number to be assigned to either a Replay or a Phone path.
Once you have assigned your number your participants can use it to listen to your pre-recorded audio right away!
You can check the status of the PINless numbers for your account from either the Teleseminars > Settings > Dial-In Numbers or Phone Paths > Dial-In Numbers tabs in the left side menu.
Live PINless numbers cannot be edited, only removed. That is done by clicking on the number in the list and then in the pop-up click the link 'Click Here to delete this number' in the bottom left corner.
You can also remove a Replay/Path number by clicking the number in the list and then in the pop-up click the link 'Click Here to delete this number' in the bottom left corner. However unlike the live PINless number you can edit the Replay/Path number and to do that you would click on the number in the list and then make any changes in the pop-up for that number.
